Dog Breed Behavior - Jumping Up

Dogs like to jump because like want to get as close to you as possible to your face where the expressions comes from. You may allow your dog to jump to you but it might be annoying to others. If you do not want your dog to accidentally knock someone off, mudding peoplesŐ clothes, then, it is better for you to train it not to jump at all.

When you dog start to jump, put one small step forward to keep them off-balance, you donŐt want to actually put a big step forward to knock them off. When they are on the ground, praise them. It is best if you have already trained your dog to sit and stay. Whenever, someone is around ask your dog to sit or stay to avoid them jumping at others.
