Many types of dogs are able to be a good wild boar hunting dogs, curs, hounds, mix breeds etc, it all depends on the type of hunting pattern you prefer. Some may like the dogs do most of the job from tracking, chasing to catching. Some may only want their dogs to sniff out the boars, track them down silently and you end it with your gun. All depends.
