Many types of dogs are able to be a good wild boar hunting dogs, curs, hounds, mix breeds etc, it all depends on the type of hunting pattern you prefer. Some may like the dogs do most of the job from tracking, chasing to catching. Some may only want their dogs to sniff out the boars, track them down silently and you end it with your gun. All depends. After some research, from the rainforest country i am from. PitBulls are used initially for most of the hunters for the verocity and gameness(may not apply to all hunters but this is what i have surveyed locally). Dogs for wildboar hunting may seem cruel to many ppl but as breeders and dog enthusiats this may seems to be interesting because it is a method to bring out the fullest potential of each dog and by all means legal from the country I am from.
